The New “Post 1819 Wall Display”

The new American Legion Post 1819 recognition wall design is complete and the wall has been installed!

For those that may not be aware, Norwich University has a provided us the wall located by the ATM machine in Wise Campus Center. The display wall is intended to bring recognition of our American Legion Post on campus, be a source of information for meetings, scholarships and projects, along as being a recruiting tool for individuals with military service time.

The wall design includes a seal from each branch and info about us. Each DOD Branch seal is 19″ and is laser cut from Baltic birch, deconstructed before being hand painted and reassembled. There will also be about 4 frames that we can update with our latest awards, info about the Post, and a “talking about” corkboard in the middle where we can easily post things that are current news related.

Donations Needed – We are also in need of financial support on this wall. We have an item in our “Store” where you can contribute whatever amount you would like in support in this incredible marketing tool we will have. Any donation of $250 or more will include your name (or whatever you would like recognized) on the wall as a “Major Donor”.

The designer is Josh Paille, Founder of Theta Pi Woodshop LLC, a Veteran and Norwich alum.
