Membership Information:
If you’re interested in joining our post, new membership or transferring posts, then please fill out the appropriate application found below and mail it to us with a check for $50.00, made out to Post #1819. We will also need a copy of your DD214 or any copy of Active Duty orders for anytime since August 1990. This is how we verify membership eligibility.
Once we have your application, it’s voted upon at the next regular/monthly Post meeting, and then we’ll send you the membership card.
In the meantime though, we’ll add you to our e-mail distribution list (it’s all blind cc) so you start receiving our communication sand meeting notices.

Eligibility Information
If you have served federal active duty in the United States Armed Forces since December 7, 1941, and have been honorably discharged or are still serving – you are eligible for membership in The American Legion!
*Because eligibility dates remain open, all active duty members of the U.S. Armed Forces are eligible to join The American Legion at this time, until the date of the end of hostilities as determined by the government of the United States.
**U.S. Merchant Marine eligible only from December 7, 1941 to December 31, 1946 (WWII).
