2022 Annual Meeting Summary

The newly elected & installed Post #1819 officers would like to thank everyone who helped make Homecoming & Annual meeting 2022 a great success. Some of the highlights include the following bullets with pictures at the bottom of this post:

  • The unveiling of the Post #1819 “Freedom Wall” in Wise Campus Center, made possible by the talents of Josh & Ashley Paille of Theta Pi Woodshop.
  • 33 members & guests attending the annual meeting on Saturday
  • 23 members renewing their memberships and 8 NU veterans joining Post #1819 or transferring from another Post
  • Raising nearly $1,900 for the scholarship fund through the raffle and silent auction. Thanks to all of those who donated prizes and purchased raffle tickets and congrats to the prize winners!

Without a doubt, the high point of the Annual meeting were the remarks by President Mark Anarumo who gave all in attendance an overview of the recent happenings on-campus and allowed time for a few questions & answers. We are especially grateful of him making the concerted effort to attend this meeting on what is likely his busiest day of the year.

And a special thanks to Past Department Commander Richard “Top” Gray, who made the trip from Post Orange, Florida to do the installation of the 2022-2023 slate of officers.
