Helpful Info on Ordering Wreaths
On the next page click on the number of wreaths you want to sponsor (or click “Custom” for a combination other than what is listed) and then click the Next button.
*Important tip: If you want to sponsor multiple wreaths with at least one wreath being placed at a specific grave, then you should select “1 Wreath” and complete the process for your desired Veteran. After adding the wreath to your order cart, you will be prompted to proceed to either go to the checkout if you are done, or you can click “Add Another Sponsorship” if you want to add additional wreaths to your order.
It will now update to show your selection and the cost. Click Next.
Confirm that American Legion Post 1819 is your sponsor group by clicking Next.
Now confirm the cemetery location where the wreath(s) are to be placed. We are sponsoring the Norwich University Cemetery. If you have a loved one buried at a different cemetery that is on the sponsored list with Wreaths Across America and you want it going there, then click the “Search All Locations” to find it.
The next screen has optional items; one of which is to specify to have your wreath placed on a specific grave by selecting “Grave Specific”. All of this is optional. If you don’t have a grave specific request, then your wreath(s) will be placed on a Veteran’s grave.
If you were to select “Grave Specific”…
You will then first specify whether you will be present and will place the wreath yourself, or if you can’t make it to the ceremony, then select “A volunteer” to have someone there place it for you.
Now you need to provide as much information as possible to identify the grave you want the wreath placed. To help you identify the grave location and information, we have an interactive cemetery map of the Norwich University Cemetery at this link where you can search for the person and it will show you were in the cemetery they reside and their information: NU Cemetery Map Viewer
After all your selections have been made, then the confirm page appears and you can add the purchase to your order cart.
Now you get prompted to proceed to the checkout if you are done, or you can click “Add Another Sponsorship” if you want to add additional wreaths.
