The Norwich University American Legion Post 1819 is raffling off weekend accommodations for Homecoming 2017 from 22 – 24 September. The accommodations are a condo property located on Sugarbush Mountain in Warren, VT. Located just 30 minutes from Norwich University this $450 value covers the cost for 2 nights and sleeps a total of 6. The raffle is to raise money for scholarships to Norwich University, predominantly for Veteran Students.
The winner will be drawn on during the Post 1819 meeting on May 4, 2017!
*Note: you don’t have to be a member to purchase a ticket and win!
Winner has the option to work with the owner and change weekends, based upon availability. The winner is responsible for any “up charges” if you were to alter weekend dates and the selected weekend was more expensive.
The drive is 30 minutes from Norwich University and Sugarbush is the “base of operations” for alumni hanging out for Homecoming and location for most class reunions so you get stay where most of the class get-togethers are without having to drive afterwards.
One raffle ticket is cheaper than a typical hotel, condominium, or bed & breakfast stay within the area around Norwich University, so this becomes a great deal all while helping out Norwich Veteran Students as all the money raised goes directly to the Norwich University American Legion Post 1819 Scholarship Fund.
***Important Note to Alumni: Alumni are encouraged to make their regular accommodation plans in case they do not win the raffle, HOWEVER the raffle drawing is designed to take place well before any accommodation cancellation fee dates!
